BSI Merch are proud to be a part of the release strategy for the new Waterboys album, Cloud Of Sound.
The CD is limited to 5000 copies, hand numbered and signed by Mike Scott, and is exclusively available from the merch stalls on The Waterboys current European tour and the official BSI powered online store.
Online sales have already counted for over 60% of sales to date and we fully expect the CD to have sold out by the end of the UK dates.

CAMDEN CRAWL 2012 BSI MERCH LINE UP
BSI Merch are once again hosting a venue at this years Camden Crawl Music Festival and attended the committee meeting last night to fight over the acts, hoping to match our awesome line up last year of the King Blues, Hawk Eyes & The Agitator.
We’re chuffed to say we think we’ve done even better this year, securing Marmozets, Dutch Uncles, Blacklisters and L.A
We’ll be planning some special DJ sets around the bands, more news to follow.
One of the bright lights of West Yorkshire’s music scene, Marmozets in truth defy any kind of cheap comparison: jagged post-punk guitars compete with rumbling bass and Becca Mac’s elastic vocals – one moment metal shriek, the next poppish croon – to produce something properly exciting. We donned our flat cap and tried to keep up with them. Check Marmozets out here
Character, quirk and heart is certainly what Dutch Uncles acquired between forming 5 years ago in the Manchester ‘burb of Marple and finishing their debut album for Memphis Industries, Cadenza. It’s a record which, in addition to the cross-dressing videos and live shows in churches with 10-piece orchestras, puts clear blue water between them and the dreary Mancunian macho-rock clichés of the recent and not so recent past. Blacklisters are a noise rock band from Leeds’ sprawling D.I.Y. scene. They have been plying their trade for around three years, playing alongside bands such as Pulled Apart by Horses, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Kong, That F***ing Tank, These Monsters and Chickenhawk, gaining a reputation for confrontational live shows. Luis Alberto Segura is the singer, songwriter and soul of this project. With three self released albums behind him, the Spaniard never thought there would come a day when the major record labels would be knocking at his door. But barely a year after his move to Universal, Luis released his latest album, Heavenly Hell. With the first single Hands sweeping iTunes (among the ten most downloaded songs) and rave reviews from the specialist press, this’ll be a great chance to catch something completely new. THE SKINTS SIGN UP WITH BSI MERCH
BSI Merch are chuffed to be working with East London ska/reggae/punks The Skints. After releasing one of the best debut albums for many years, 2009′s “Live, Breathe, Build, Believe”, the band have become known as one of the best live bands around, breathing new life into the genre.
The band release their eagerly awaited second album “Part And Parcel” in April 2012, after a UK tour with You Me At Six, Kids In Glass Houses and Mayday Parade in March. With a whole bunch of festivals booked in throughout the summer, and a headline tour already booked for October, we expect The Skints to be one of the bands to break in 2012.
The merch range for the forthcoming tour includes some unusual items geared at their audience, including an Oyster card holder and coin style pin badge, based on the bands One Pence logo.
The BSI Merch powered online store has launched with a series of bundles, ranging from the Really Skint Fan, Not So Skint Fan to Just Got Paid Fan Bundles.

Established in 2007 by leading figures in the UK music industry, Julie’s Bicycle is a non-profit company working across the arts and creative industries, providing expertise in environmental sustainability to over 350 organisations in the UK and internationally.
Julie’s Bicycle are helping to make environmental sustainability intrinsic to the business, art and ethics of the music, theatre and creative industries.
They offer practical advice, tools, resources and Industry Green environmental certification, informed by world-leading research into the environmental impacts of the creative industries.
The newly launched Green Database showcases green suppliers, venues and festivals in the music and theatre industries. It can be used to search for environmentally conscious products and services, and for venues and festivals who are taking their environmental impacts seriously.

Bon Iver Grammy Awards Success
Bon Iver won 2 awards at last nights 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. The band won the prestigious Best New Artist category as well as Best Alternative Album for their self titled album.
